View your Daysi Calendar in other Calendar Systems

It is possible to see your Daysi Family Calendar in a number of different calendars such as  Google Calendar, iPhone Calendar, Outlook etc.
Below is a description on how the configuration is done to view your Daysi Family Calendar appointments in various specific external Calendar Systems.

iPhone Calendar

You can configure your iPhone Calendar to view your Daysi Calendar as part of your iPhone Calendar.  

Execute the following tasks to view your Daysi Calendar in your iPhone Calendar App.

To view Daysi appointments in your iPhone calendar, do the following:

  • Tab the Settings icon on your iPhone
  • Select Accounts & passwords
  • Tab Add account
  • Tab Other
  • Select Add CalDav account
  • Fill in the four fields that appear with the following information:
    • Server: ‘cal.daysi.dk’
    • User name:
    • Password:
    • Description:
  • Tab Next in the upper right corner
  • A pop-up window appears with the following text: “Cannot connect via SSL”
  • Press Continue
  • A new Pop-up appears with the following text: “Connection Fails”
  • Select Advanced
  • In the fields that appear, write the following:
    • Use SSL:
    • Port: 443
    • Account URL: https://cal.daysi.dk/vendor/calendarserver.php/principals/xx/
  • Press the CalDav button at the top left corner
  • You will now return to the previous window
  • Tab Next in the upper right corner
  • Tab Save in the upper right corner

You are now finished with the configuration and you can now see your Daysi Family Calendar in your iPhone Calendar App.

Apple Calendar on Mac 

You can configure your Mac so that you can view your Daysi Family Calendar in your Mac Calendar.

Execute the following tasks to view your Daysi Calendar in your Mac Calendar program:

  1. Open iCal and choose iCal> Preferences and click Accounts
  2. Click the “+” icon and select Other CalDav account to add a new account
  3. Choose account type “Advanced”
  4. Use your username and password from Daysi in the password field
  5. In the other fields, write the following:
    • Server: ‘cal.daysi., Dk’
    • Server path: /vendor/calendarserver.php/principals/xx/
      must be replaced with your email address
    • Server port: 443
    • Use SSL: Set to True
  6. Press “Log in”

You are now finished with the configuration and you can now see your Daysi Family Calendar in your Mac Calendar program.

Daysi Calendar viewed in
Google Calendar

You can configure your Google Calendar to view your
Daysi Family Calendar.

Execute the following tasks to view your Daysi Calendar in your Google Calendar:

On your Phone

  1. Open your Daysi Family Calendar
  2. Choose Family Settings from the Menu
  3. Choose the Family Member you want to see the Calendar for in Google Calendar
  4. Copy the Webaddress in the section “External access to Daysi Calendar” by pressing the COPY WEBADDRESS button
  5. Send this Web-address in a mail to your pwn mail-address

On your PC

  1. Open Google Calendar
  2. Click the three-dot icon next to the text “Add Calendar”
  3. Select From URL
  4. In the window that appears past the Webaddress that you have sent to your own E-mail address.

You are now finished with the configuration and your can now see your Daysi Family Calendar in Google Calendar.

From External Calendar to Daysi

TeamSnap to Daysi

Appointments created in TeamSnap can be imported into Daysi as “read-only”
Please note, appointments must be changed in TeamSnap and  Daysi will import the Appointments several times daily. 

Execute the following tasks to import Appointments from TeamSnap:

Appointments created in Team Cowboy can be imported into Daysi as “read-only”
